It would wonderful if a cure could be found for this little understood and painful affliction. I've seen my sister suffer with this for years, taking different medications and even undergoing surgeries in hopes of ending her misery...this is for you Sherry Pento! Love you xoxo

I have been suffering with this condition for 6 years. I have yet to receive good quality care as if it would had been a cancer.Every year we fight to get more recognition. We need awareness so that we can get diagnosed sooner and get treated by doctors who know about the condition and not just throw pills or there hands in the air because they don't know of it. We need research and awareness just as cancer does so we too can one day have a cure.

This disease is barbaric. But here in Scotland doctors are quite frankly clueless! I have had this condition for ten years. I am 24. And I need treatment in the USA because a rarer form - geniculate neuralgia - affects me also. Doctors must be educated!

This is a devastating disease. I have had had one brain surgery because of this and I may need another.
