International Trigeminal Neuralgia Awareness Day October 7th!

I support this petition as i suffer with trigeminal neuralgia.its a debilatating very painful condition

As a sufferer.of TN raising awareness and new research is desparately needed to help people like me. Please listen to all of our voices.

My niece suffers from this terrible disease and I have watched what it has done to her and to her family. The pain that brings her to her knees screaming. No one deserves to deal with this. Please help by bringing this disease to the forefront.

This is a TERRIBLE disease. I personally have watched my sister go from a normal functioning woman to not even being able to get out of bed...and after brain surgery...she couldn't even wash her hair. I have suffered for 3 years. Spent 10s of thousands of dollars. Had to quit my job. Have been prescribed over 50 different medications. Had my skull opened to get to my brain to fix the problem. The problem still is in me. TN steals lives, but before I got it, I had never heard of it. I wouldn't wish this pain on anyone. PLEASE add TN to your "health topics".

I am a close friend of Dawn O'malley who lost her life to this horrendous disease 10 years after aquiring it. Please start a conversation and increase education in the medical community. If I had not known someone who sufffered from this I wouldn't even know it existed and that I should be made aware of it. Please not only help find a cure, but raise awareness to help in avoiding contracting it in the first place. I realize that it can happen for unexplained reasons but I believe that Dawn fell victim to TN after some dental procedures. RIP dear friend, hope we can find a way to stop this disruptive disease! The day I was diagnosed, my life went on hold, I'm too young to check out like this... I can't remember a day that was pain free

horrendous constant numbness and pain , I have no live because of it ,most doctors I've seen do not have a clue .

Please help bring awareness to the horrid disease. I have suffered for most of my adult life (over 25 years) with a proper diagnosis only 1 1/2 yes ago. I had micro vascular decompression surgery (MVD) one month ago on 11/30/15. I pray for relief though it's too early to tell if there will be success. I implore you to help in any way to bring awareness and ultimately a cure. Thank you.
