Our daughter has had TN for 8 years she is 51 now! It has taken her life away!! Pain is with her daily so she can never make plans to meet friends cause she never knows how she will be functioning. Applied for disability but turned down twice. A very mean disease!! Find a cure!!

Diagnosed March 4, 2016 I am very fortunate to have a well-informed Primary Care Physician. She knew exactly what to do. Took us a minute, but we found my balance between Carbamazepine and Gabapentin. Still need to FIND A CURE!

I had my lingual nerve crushed and severed after a 3rd molar extraction on April 17, 2015. Initial symptoms included complete numbness of right side of tongue, gums and chin and lip on the right side, front bottom teeth throbbing/sensitive, burning, tingling, stinging, over sensitive, achy. August 2015, I had the neuroma removed and the nerve repaired. April 2016, some feeling has returned to the center of the tongue, however, I still have constant burning, tingling, stinging pain around edges and tip of the tongue (which intensifies after talking/eating). I am pursuing other courses of treatment, a possible 2nd surgery, and a possible lawsuit.
