I was unable to get my short term disability benefits that I pay out of my pay check for when my life came to screeching halt thanks to this awful disease. No matter how tough or strong you are (or think you are like me) this disease is stronger-I promise.

TN needs to be added to the health topic list IMMEDIATELY. For those who don't think so, maybe you need to spend a day in our shoes so you can change your mind. Feel what we feel and you would wonder why you didn't add it a long time ago!

Since 2011 I've suffered with this debilitating condition. More awareness/research and funding is crucial.

It''s time to help these suffering people! They are dying from excruciating pain. Cause of death is accidental overdose and suicide because they can't live with the agony. Brain surgery is inevitable but only buys them time. PLEASE HELP!

Had TN for almost 32 years, for the first part or until Obama care kicked in it was considered a "pre-existing condition" you couldn't be insured and if potential employers can't insure you you can't get a job, since your condition is not visible social service and other self appointed judges of humanity assume that you are "faking" and should be treated like other social outcasts that fail to prove their failure to be a part of society and due all the things normal people do. My pain and the inability to gain employment caused my wife and I to do a role reversal (having never had brothers the idea of raising three sons also influenced her decision) She worked for Oregon State radiation control with all the benefits for 15 years, I started out raising 4 kids, doing the house work, dealing with schools doctors, cooking and making sure the family had clean clothes {laundry detail), lunches and all the things they needed to get through each day at work, in school or when friends came over. (4 kids the last 3 a year apart meant 4 teenagers of my own and half the kids in the neighborhood 3 athletic sons and a good looking daughter my my house the hangout. Parents would call to see if their kids were there and hang up; they didn't want their kids to come home they just wanted to check-in; they figured if the kids were at my house they weren't getting in trouble. The reverse prejudice included a food stamp worker when my wife first started working- I had 3 kids in diapers and a 7 year old son playing pack mule with the bottles and diaper bags; when I explained I was recovering from a motor cycle versus a car wreck and my wife new job wasn't paying much she asked "Don't You work?" I a male had asked a woman in my position that question he would have had his head handed back to him a a sexist pig the didn't appreciate what the job of housewife required. School teachers and social workers assumed I was a dead beat husband and father never taking the time to ask why Chris
