A public stance from our elected officials. The citizens of Camdenton are suffering from the harmful effects of Trichloroethylene contamination. Our property values have suffered and our health is suffering. A response from the Courthouse Commissioners office and Mayor is required.

I see a lot of people asking our officials why they have not spoke on this, I ask why has the ballfield and park not being monitored because sunstrand back filled and donated part of the property they sit on and it use to be there landfill dump and our officials know this and still allow our children to play there

I would like to add that Forrestway dr. really needs to be tested for TCE contamination, considering that we are downhill from modine and downstream from Hulett lagoon.

It's a shame that it seems our elected officials take no interestand place no priority on the health and safety of it's citizens young or old. Many families here in the area of contamination have children. Many who worked or lived in this location are now dead from related illnesses. Something MUST be done; for some, it's ALREADY too late.

I worked at SunStrand in the 70's I have also lived on Forestway DR which is right down the hill so yes that area should be tested as well. Wondering now if that is what caused my bout with cancer

Trichloroethelyne began affecting our community years ago with many health issues that were shoved under the rug . My daughter got Aplastic Aneima from only drinking water in 1997-98 without being notified it was in our water .

While it can still be managed, if that is the case, please control the situation before we are a clone of Flint, Michigan. I suppose I should be happy my child is grown and gone and not subject to these effects. That just leaves me with MS and worsening symptoms. I happen to be a resident on Mulberry Lane not far from the Modine plant that is closed.

My mother worked at Modine and Sunstrand she passed away in January she had battled breast cancer then conjestive heart failure. Was it from working there? I remember her coming home when I was a child talking about her job she did some type of cleaning with this chemical! This makes me so mad that a company can come in and distroy a community.
