Triathlon is a growing sport, therefore, more exposure has is needed for this sport in order for it to grow in Malaysia. Besides, we have a lot of young and potential triathletes which trained very hard and have full commitment and dedication for triathlon. Results has also been proven, when Riki Shinozuka clinched silver medal for Sea Games is Singapore.

Triathlon should definitely be one of the many events in the 2017 SEA Games as loads of athletes have worked extremely hard to prepare themselves for this. Triathlon is a great sport and it shouldn't be dropped out from the events list.
