Doing it for a very long time the trade is going away and they don't care but they will when the few of us good ones out here are gone.They had better change it now before it's to late money needs to go way up and better benefits.

Multiple requirements involved.
#1. Learn to climb.
#2. Learn to trim.
#3. Learn to rope and rig.
#4. Learn all about electricity.
#5. Learn your trees! Soft wood/ hard wood.
And there us many many more skills involved, like numerous saftey rules used to protect us .This is just a few off the top of my head.
IT TAKES A RARE BREED OF PERSON TO MAKE A CAREER OUT OF THIS TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT.
This is just one man's opinion.

Add private trimmers as well. Houses, pools, bird cages, fences, close neighbors. All obstacles to cut, manuver, and drop safily which takes skill as well
