We are students of a higher education. We are not primary students, nor are we high school students. We are adults who are capable of handling responsibility. We are adults who are capable of handling the repercussion of our decisions. We should and need to be treated as adults.

We have made the decision to carry on with our education. We have made decisions that has led us to where we currently stand. And we will continue to make decisions that we feel are for the better. These decisions are ours to make, to fail, and to succeed with. We have made decisions in the past, and will continue to make decisions in the future. The choices we have made are ours, and the consequences are ours to carry. We are responsible for what we do and should be held accountable.

As adults we should be able dictate what classes would help us in succeeding, and what classes would interfere with progression. We should be able to make a logical and appropriate choice towards our success. We should not be penalized for the choices we made on behalf of our education, we should not be penalized when we do not attend classes that are not helping us succeed. The choice should be ours. The outcome should reflect our decision. We made a decision, why can't we make the choice?
