We are equal!
First, American white men were granted equality when they won the Revolutionary War against britain. Then, African American men were granted equality after the Civil War. Women received their equality once the 19th amendment was passed. The only ones left that still haven't been marked as equal are children. And that's about to change. Kids are just as helpful as an adult. Kids have fought in wars and a lot have died for our country just like adults. American kids have all been born on United States soil just like every other citizen treated equally. So why are children still being treated as unequal? Why aren't children allowed to speak their mind and put their thoughts into something they believe in without getting in trouble? Why do children have their free will taken away from them and only receive it when they are eighteen years old? Because adults need someone to feel more important then. Children are forced to do chores after a hard day at school for an unfair or nonexistent amount of money. This can resemble what happened to the African American slaves before the Civil War ended in 1865. Kids are also forced to go to school and their parents decide who they can be friends with, what grades they have to earn, how they should act, and how much freedom they are allowed to have. This amount of freedom is fairly small and in some cases, nonexistent. There needs to be change and it has to happen now. For too long have children been not allowed to speak their mind. We need to do something about it or more kids may run away from their homes for freedom, more kids might be marked as a troublemaker for speaking about what they believe in, and more kids might resent their parents and loved ones for treating them unequal. This idea will never go away until the problem is solved. So help save families and children's lives. This is a very real issue and only your support will help us fix this issue before it grows into a full out riot of children. Kids are smart, do not underestimate them and sign below to support this effort.
