I watched Treasure Planet in the theaters and loved it greatly, was one of the few movies I bought back in its time. I was only allowed 1 game or 1 movie every 2 months, so I got TP and have always wondered why it end the way it did. Recently a video on youtube told me that there was going to be a TP2 but was canceled after the movie didn't do greatly in the theaters. Now a days I'm sure the kids of this generation and adults who grew up with it would love to watch it again.

The first Treasure Planet was a masterpiece, but it is so overlooked and under appreciated, it's shameful. Many movies who had no business with a sequel got one anyway, movies that aren't as good as Treasure Planet. Hopefully, many are finally getting to notice this movie, and what a promising story the sequel has. It's alright if you can't make the TV series anymore, I would be happy with just the sequel. Please let it happen. I still have high hopes that no matter how long it takes, a sequel will be made eventually. Just look how long it took to The Jungle Book.

JUST DO IT ALREADY. I've been waiting for a sequel for long enough already. We need to get this rolling somehow. Guys, publish this on reddit, facebook any social media you know, it's so painful to know that we might never see a sequel. :c

Treasure Planet has been the number 1 best Disney film since I was little. and it still is to this day. if they made a sequel to it, it would definitely be F*CKING AWESOME!! and tones of other people would agree with me.

This is honestly my favourite. When I found out there were plans for a sequel but it's wasn't made, I was devastated. It would be really good to see it reborn. There not many good 2D animations anymore.
