Gotta get that new movie!

I hope cuz this was one of my favorite novie when i was a kid

With so many other Disney classics getting sequels, some several, I see no reason why TP should remain without its own.

I really want a Treasure Planet 2!! The original movie was really good and was a shame that they didn't make a second movie.

We need this to happen

Just re-watched this movie and i thirst for a new adventure. from the leaked possibilities from http://moviepilot.com/posts/2283246 (Where i found this petition.) it would be awesome if Jim's father was one of the prisoners released on the centurion. Jim finds out buy finding his boat he tried to give his father in the first movie (with a continuation of the memory with he mother coming behind him with a parcel putting his boat in with his signature or mark identifying it to be his boat.) now he needs to deliver the payload and try and rescue his father at the same time. This can be accomplished or alternatively can be a chance for the father to save his son by having him sacrifice him self keeping the villain on board while the payload does "its thing" (may destroy the ship or alternatively send it to an unknown dimension/ part of/ specifically inaccessible part of space) not before his father has a brief heart to heart with him leaving him his journal with hundreds of enties left to jim and his mother. where he learns tid bits of what his father was doing to get him stuck in prison. this could be literally anything. (at the same time the Navy can see the potential for the new ship but must build in fail safes that can be used to disable them if they fall into the wrong hands like the first one did, which could be the critical plot device in the third movie) a secret plot to that the pristine Navy/Academy could be hiding. in which admiral blake could be a reluctantly aiding or covering up, could be a powerful ally to stop the plot , or the mastermind behind it. He could be all of the above. But this we be the third movie as the second needs to invigorate the story line and would be busy trying to do all these things in one movie. He could set up the third by having jim cutting off silver an alley after he secretly watches their graduation( from the leaked material) he could say something like so you are going to come all this way and not say hi, after breaking

Tbh i believe the sequel would have been amazing. And treasure planet would have gotten more hits if it were to be released nowadays when more kids as well as adults are open to space adventure!

one of the best movies I watched cool animation and I would like some answers about Jim's dad and maybe a future lover. needless to say I LOVE THIS MOVIE

Yes! I just watched the original right now, and the way they ended it structures it for a sequel it deserves. Maybe even including Jim's dad, I don't know. Something a little bit like Aladdin and The King Of Thieves. But of course keeping with the cool other story. Jim's dad could just be a side plot.

I hope this really happens
