Very creative movie worth a sequel. Considering the popularity of the steam punk genre and pirates I'm surprised Disney didn't do a part 2 before now.

I think that it's a really great idea about bringing the sequel back for Treasure Planet to life again because I absolutely love the way John Musker and Ron Clements created the story, the characters, and most of all I love the way Jim Hawkins sees John Silver as a father figure during their bonding moments. The character design of Jim Hawkins' beautiful girlfriend Kate is amazingly breathtaking and exotic but I or we fans are kinda hoping and wishing that maybe they can make her as a human girl just to make the romance perfect.

I absolutely love this film, have read through the planned script/plot for the sequel and would be completely over the moon if it were to become a reality!!!
Treasure Planet 2 is a must! i can't even tell you how much I loved the First one
