My favorite dysney movie of all time and one of the most beautiful animated movie I saw (both visually and in its storytelling) that suffered from poor promotion and bad release date. Definitely deserves its sequel.

This movie will forever be in my heart, if there would ever be a second movie, I would definitly watch it. Come on Disney!!! Admit it! The first one was brilliant!

A shame Disney didn't properly market the original. If we can have Finding Dory a decade later then this would be a piece of cake.

I'll sign but, from what I've read, Disney execs pretty much sabotaged the release and marketing of the film so it would tank so they could abandon expensive traditional animation and focus on live action and CG films. Pretty much the few traditional animators they have left are only made to work on the projections in the theme parks. I'm not sure they could make it even if they wanted to and I really don't think they want to.

Still my favourite movie from Disney, animation was amazing, the art was beautiful, the designs were just wow everything was great the only reason the first movie flopped was because it was against the first Harry Potter movie and most people decided to wait for he blue ray to come out instead of watching it on screen in cinema and it's a darn shame, I tell you Disney this is a huge loss and a lot of people would come see this classic. I don't even care if you plan to use complete 3D animation, please you are missing out on a great idea.

Growing up Treasure Planet was one of my favorite films, however it's almost like Disney wanted to destroy the chances of that film ever seeing a sequel. Here's to hoping this brings it out!

Reading the story that was released for the sequel, I saw such potential! I got so excited and then crushed. I would rush to theatres to see it. And the people who all worked so hard getting the sequel started should get the chance to complete it. Bring on the sequel!!!!
