I've loved this movie since I was a kid. It's probably the best Disney movie IMO and it deserves a sequel

I have recently went back to watching all the classic Disney movies I once watched when I was a child and found this movie in my CD collection. I was baffled to see all the beutiful environments and the animation mixed with cgi animation was absolutely stunning. To find out this movie totally flopped totally confused me and I did some research only to find out that it was really Disney's fault with poor advertising. Now you look at movies like Frozen and Moana and realize that nothing compares to this classic. If there's ever the chance that this movie's 2nd part comes out and does justice for the original I will personally watch many times over with the thought that our youth just got a little brighter.

to me, treasure planet is a revolution. A kind of its own compared with others disney's animation movies. In dept characters' development, 2D/3D hybrid graphic, space world concept, music scores and best of all...... the message of family (through a child from a broken family).... it is a revolutionary!

Treasure Planet was a great film, with memorable characters, high-quality animation, and a thrilling story. I would love more than anything to see a sequel for it materialize.

I just read the conceptual idea of this project, and I gotta say I'm really into it. This movie stood really close to my heart as a kid and I can still relate, I really wish this will come into existence...
