This movie was my childhood. Every other film has a dead parent or sibling - this was the one film with an only child whose parent left them: like me. This is the movie (along with Mulan) that made me what to join the Army. This was the movie that made me think why, as a young girl, I hated most of the girls in movies. This sequel needs to be made.

Treasure Planet is the first film I remember watching when I was a little girl. It gave me dreams and hope unlike any other film I have watched since. I was amazed every minute of it, so full of wonder, and to this day I am still fascinated by space, thanks to Treasure Planet.

this film being under marketed and showed against 2 big name films upon release was a tragedy for what should have been the biggest Disney film ever! If they would attempt to make a second film it would be a star.
