Merton's Labour-run Council has been shown again to be lazy and dithering. Trust that those who voted Labour in May 2018 will realise over the next 4 years that the Labour majority has led to complacency and incompetence in the way the Council is run and Council Tax bills twice that of neighbouring Wandsworth.

Sort the travellers situation out once and for all, absolutely appalling. I will not walk my dog while they are there as so intimidating,

The level of ignorance and negligence that allows this issue to recur is beyond belief (and my Council Tax). Fix it.

Shocking in today's day and age that trespassing of any sort should require anything other than proof of ownership to the police to get people off or out of their property.

It is a disgrace - particularly as the police/council would be able to adequately deal with the problem if they could be bothered. Why should our hard earned money - which we are required to pay over to the council as council taxes - be used to deal with the mess created by these wasters, rather than used to benefit our community - it appears just because of Merton council ineptitude .

This is a health and safety issue, as the common is now being used as a lantern. cars being driven on the common where there are people and children walking.Merton Council need to get their act together. They were removed from Wimbledon Common within two hours, Merton Council should be able to do the same.

As a Merton council tax payer, I am sick of seeing the mess left behind by these people and having to contribute to the cost of cleaning up.

The travellers park right in the middle of the Common and leave loads of rubbish behind them.
The sooner the better.
