Please restrict movement to the Isle of Wight so it can be contained without the risk of spreading from sources on from the mainland. Use boat charter companies to deliver supplies (saving their industry) without the need for passenger ferries to bring people to the island, Essential workers and travel excluded. Limit Passengers

We need to protect our island and its residents more than ever now to make sure it will be here for everyone to enjoy and appreciate for the future. Financial gratification motivated by fear and greed never solves anything it usually guarantees that we will lose the very thing we hold dear!

If the Government is really committed to stopping the spread of coronavirus then this should be a priority especially with the app being introduced this week.

Mainlanders need to stay away , especially as we are about to trial the Coronavirus app. Ferries need to be able to enforce this.

If tourist think we are no longer restricted over on the island, and we are using trackers, just for islanders. What's the point, trackers won't be worth using.

Keep us safe by stopping the flow across the water

We should of stopped nonessential travel to the Island at the beginning of this lock down. The worst ones are the DFL'S (down from London) arriving at Seaview. They think they are immune! No doubt Bembridge have the same problem.

I wholeheartedly agree with the need to stop visitors to the island at this time. If you're not a permanent resident here, there is no"essential" reason for you to visit... especially as our covid 19 cases are still increasing from the last influx of people around Mother's day.

Question everybody boarding, record their travel intentions. Returned back on Red Funnel (E Cowes) Ferry last Friday and saw family with two children walking about the ship...Why?

I believe strict regulations should be put in place to restrict non-essential travel to the island in this unprecedented Covid 19 pandemic. Also to continue when we are able to come out of lockdown; this will be the time when our nation must still adhere to rules if we are to get over this. Better to prolong this and pevent a second wave of the virus. Holidays are a luxury; life is precious.

This should have been done from day one. Keep the island for islanders.

All boat travel should be prohibited until the covid-19 is over

If Scotland could close down unnecessary travel to their islands why couldn't we?

I love the island and we were supposed to be coming in May but cancelled our trip for the safety of those who live on the island plus our own safety. Cannot believe the boats are still letting non-residents travel over!
