Our hospital here on the island struggles in normal situations let’s help them by closing the ferries except for goods bringing food and medicine

Cornwall is closed...now Wales. It's time the Isle of Wight was too. Our one hospital could not cope with the spread of the virus. Essential travel such as medical staff, freight lorries etc of course, but nothing more. We need to do this to survive. Please listen.

Why dont you put your efforts into getting people off the streets on the IOW? The comments below are ludicrous. I know many 2nd home owners on the IOW and they are NOT there, nor do they live in effing LONDON. You are all sheep signing this and believing in this petition. I guess you are allo bored now you have finished stocking up with bog rolls. Be careful what you wish for....maybe the 2nd home owners will choose to spend their money someone else when they are “welcomed” back.

During this crisis we are supposed to be on lockdown. Ferries should be used for supplies and. Equipment only

I live opposite the Red Funnel and there have been cars all day dont believe they are hospital appointment and key worker lots are getting out of their cars and staff are talking to them up close through the car windows
