We are a group of TriMet riders and community activists based in the Portland, Oregon area. In a time of economic hardship and with transit ridership growing, we believe that cutting transportation services, hiking fares, and laying off public transportation workers is counter to building a sustainable city. Inspired by the Los Angeles Bus Riders Union, we believe that public transportation is a human right.
