I agree with All comments above . I understand in today’s economy not everyone can afford rent in the Los Angeles but the amount of homeless , agreesive, mentally unstable people living on the streets is awful. We have stopped going to certain stores and areas due to the safety of my children an I

Why should our tax dollars go toward providing cleaning service to this trash only to have them move back in hours later?
Why are there no consequences for stealing shopping carts, unregistered vehicles, loitering, public intoxication etc but tax payers have to be law abiding?
Why should TAX PAYERS (people contributing to society) have to take back seat to people who only DRAIN society?
Why should we abandon our parks in favor of drug addicts and parasites?
Street living needs to be banned and illegal.

I want a clean & safe place to raise my children. The streets are now dirty with needles. Rundown RVs are parked on our streets dealing drugs & offering prostitution. I sickened by how our state has turned into a free for all. There is no longer consequences for theft or really anything. I’m so disappointed by all this.

Please remember, this is not an attack on people that are truly homeless because of situations that were beyond control. This is about drug addicts and lazy people that choose to live like this.

I grew up in Chatsworth and am horrified to see the changes in the last few years. I have found needles, meth pipes, drugs, marijuana, and human feces all over the town. I see passed out junkies sleeping on the street or walking in a daze everywhere. Our beautiful Chatsworth library is not a place for children or the community anymore because the junkies are either sleeping half naked on the patio, leaving needles in the bathroom, smoking drugs in the bushes or congregating inside. I carry pepper spray everywhere. Decrepit RV’s are dumping their waste water onto the street. The sidewalks are covered in leaves, pine needles, overgrown weeds, bushes and trash. I am sick of this and demand action.

Born and raised here. I have never seen West Hills & Woodland Hills like this. It’s not safe or clean. Homeless relieving themselves sexually right in front of our neighborhood market. Dirty needles and aggressive pan handlers.

It’s time to put the safety of your tax paying stakeholders above the “rights” of these drugged out, violent transient addicts who are overwhelming our community. In just a few short years we have gone from a safe place to raise our children, to a place where RV’s dump hazardous materials, (including human waste) into the streets, druggies shoot up out in the open and litter our sidewalks and parks with needles and crack pipes, and violent transients are physically assaulting citizens for refusing to give them money! Please help our community. People are leaving and moving away - I’m sure you agree that’s not the answer. Bring back the common sense laws & stop catering to these addicts who don’t want to accept the help of shelters or rehabilitation.

Stop heroin and meth addicts from panhandling anywhere. Stop the heroin addicts, meth addicts and alcoholics from claiming our streets, sidewalks, driveways, private properties, freeway properties...as their home. Make new laws that restore civalization. Enforce those new laws. Enforce the laws and cival codes in place now. Clean and keep our streets, sidewalks, alleyways...clean.

These people need immediate help to get them hospitalized and homed. Our communities are becoming a third world and children are not safe in public parks.
