Clear the streets, ticket, then imprison. Have treatment tent centers in desert ready with beds, pending evaluation and placement or imprisonment.

I've lived here all my life and seeing this district in is causing crime and despair in our beautiful community. I'll be moving out of this liberal shingle and no longer be used for congresses illegal gains

This demostraates how our State Goverment is taking care of the citizens within the state. You have to be undocumented to get any thing from the state.

I no longer feel safe walking in the park that is only a half block from my home (Chatsworth Park North) because of the abundance of homeless people camping in the park who stare at me as I walk by. There has been recent gang activity (with one incident sending a police officer to the hospital) and my across the alley neighbor has been pistol-whipped by gang members within the last year who threatened him and his family outside of his front door. We now have home invasion robberies as well as many, many car break-ins in this once peaceful suburb off the beaten path of city life. The stores on Devonshire in Chatsworth are being broken into regularly, driving local shop owners out of business. The homeless gathering around the Ralph's supermarket on Devonshire in Chatsworth have made me choose to shop farther away from home. Homeless living in broken down RVs are dumping human waste and garbage onto Valley Circle and other Chatsworth neighborhood streets. Restrictive parking ordinances elsewhere in Los Angeles (but not in Chatsworth!) are driving the homeless and crime problem right in to our front yards. And it appears that nothing of substance is being done to regain control of our little town. None of this started happening until just a few years ago. Ignoring this new reality and just allowing this to happen is a choice that tells me that our officials don't want to invest the resources and don't care enough to keep the northwest corner of the San Fernando Valley safe. That's just not right. Chatsworth Lives Matter!

I closed my shop on Devonshire because we got broken into so many times. Chatsworth is really getting run-down. This is quite unfortunate.

Our little print shop is surrounded with homeless camping and awful looking RVs, we’re afraid of walking around the block during our lunch hour

Please SAVE our Valley! We are not safe on our streets or in our homes anymore. If you care about public safety, you have to help us!

I agree that we need to take some sort of action on the issue of homelessness, mental illness and substance abuse in our neighborhoods. Please spell check the petition and get rid of the goofy picture so reps will take this petition more seriously.
