To Speaker Pelosi:
We are disturbed that the Congressional leadership has decided to eliminate transgender people from the latest version of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA). LGBT organizations and allies have been working for years to pass a bill that protects gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees alike. The decision to split the bill into two new pieces of legislation
Moving toward one hundred signatures provides a clear signal that the exclusion of transgender protections from this legislation is unacceptable to many people. I invite you to send this link to a few colleagues who value workplace equality so we can reach that threshold today.

Disgusted by this. My friends shouldn't have to worry about getting fired for being themselves. Put it back in.

This is completely wrong. Everyone deserves to feel safe at their job regardless of who they are. Do the right thing.

So tired of the exclusion. Just pass the whole thing and stop splitting it up like it doesnt matter.

Total garbage move by leadership. Why are we leaving people behind when we should be fighting for everyone equally??
