Quad dorm rooms are a serious problem here at James Madison University  Students who are currently in quad dorm rooms are getting lack of sleep, which makes it harder for them to focus and remember information learned in class, which effects their grades and their grades go down. Also students have lack of personal privacy and lack of concentration if they live in a quad dorm room. This makes if harder for them to do their school work and study in a room with three other people making all different kinds of noise. This then hinders their grades and their grades go down as well. By signing this petition you are agreeing that there is a problem with quad dorm rooms at James Madison University. This petition is stating that Residential Life needs to get rid of quad dorm rooms and transform them into suites or add a wall for division to form two separate rooms that share a common room or change the request process where only students who select quad dorm rooms can be placed in them.
