This is a crisis; everyone please spread this through any way of communication. All fandoms and passions can be destroyed by this single government agreement. We (fandomers) will unite to defeat our greatest nightmare

Why take the peoples' freedom away Goves.? Have they done anything bad to you? No. Then why take away what makes them happy in life?

I really don't think this is logical... at all. Why would the common fan who wants to show his or her own's work become a criminal??? It's a fandom... not a government agency...

What. the. Hell.... god seriously? we aren't hurting anyone first off and it's a way to express how much love a character. We love them so much that we try to embody and resemble that character in the way the original artist depicted. How is that a crime or should be considered a crime? oh yeah that's right, it shouldn't be. There are far more important things to busy your little politician selves with than harming a subculture stemming from works of are like anime and manga. Fucking worry about world poverty or hunger or something. We're showing our love and affection for these things that are a source of entertainment or even a way to escape the pressure of reality. Perhaps our methods are not your own but there is no reason that this should even have been thought of. We aren't stealing an idea we are supporting it and in the process supporting the artists who have created what we imitate. We meet new people with the same passion as us as well. We're a community and there is no way that you should have the right to take it away from us in such a crude fashion as outlawing something that harms no one. Go busy yourselves with something of more pressing concern. Assholes.

Its a way to meet new people, its a way to express your self, u feel great to be a beloved character...why take that away

The anime and manga community has always been attacked and picked on. Don't make victims criminals.

I have recently gotten into anime and I have to say,why does almost everyone criticize us?A lot of the internet is made up of stuff like that.You have a problem when the original creator gets mad at you,but if he says nothing,what's the problem?He said nothing,so it's okay.Like,Youtube,DevianArt,etc would be a lot less popular.Sure,you can make your own content,but it's easier and looks better if you have a form of inspiration.This new law takes away all that.You wanted to dress up as your favourite character?Too bad,it'll be illegal.I know this is long,but that just pisses me off.

This is killing our fandoms, in all honesty what you are taking away from us is bonding people together. Cosplay, drawings,anime and manga all this is something special thousands if not millions enjoy. Not only does this bond people together but advertises many works. Free advertising for the creator and an entertaining anime/manga.

What have we done wrong exactly? Why Does the world hate people who like japan so much, that they would go to the lenghts of this
