My son Oskar is riding on the bike every day as I started work ealier in Slieverue.He was hit by the car today when back from school.Children should have a school bus and be safe to go and back from school.There is a big problem with the school bags they are so heavy I checked his bag and it weight 14kg it is too much for 13 year old, he’s weight is only 40kg…Agata Oskar’s mum

About time something was done about this! The traffic is ridiculous and for students without transport to the school, it's quite frankly a health hazzard. I've personally lifted these bags and I'm just shocked at the weight of them! If employees in any company were made to carry that weight around, there'd be serious health repercussions! I support the bus service 100%
