Traffic wardens in Retford are affecting the town and it's trade

I believe that IF they take away the bonus scheme wardens are on, they will be fairer.

Self important over officious idiots. Handing out too many unjust tickets to people who have paid for parking. Trade in Retford suffers.

They are unapproachable and have a high and mighty attitude I tryed talking to one the other day about loading something in my car and was quoted the book he then walked five paces away from the car and stood there wrist up watching his watch as to time me it makes it very difficult to work when I need to load and unload infrount of the shop

Their like vultures...I hate shopping in Retford and don't if I can help it, I've had so many tickets that were unnecessary, get rid of the horrid things

There are far too many traffic wardens and they are far to eager to issue tickets. It's driving trade from retford as signs aren't clear to out of towners who then get tickets and don't come back anymore. I mean it says up to 1 hr. That is stupid it should say 50p for 1 hrs parking. That is clear. Sly annoying parasites.

I have never seen so many traffic wardens in one town . I was fined a couple of years ago because my ticket blew over when I shut the door . Tried to appeal but to no avail .

It's beyond a joke, I live on Armstrong road and have had 2 tickets for parking outside my house because of people parking in our parking bays to walk into town and work! A few have been doing it for around 8 years and one owns there own beauty shop! I've reported numerous times to council with no avail! We was told we'd get permits but never heard anymore on the subject!

I was paying for a parking ticket when a warden started taking my car details to give me a ticket, when I showed him I had just purchased a tiket he said I should have had my hazards on? I've never been told this through my driving lessons or tests.

Why can't we be more like Gainsborough. Cheaper parking better shops and they're traffic wardens army lilt the gestation !!

Wardens are destroying the heart of our market town which relies so heavily on retail trade to survive.
