My brother got stuck with a misdemeanor for going 10 over and it has been a nightmare for his background checks. This needs to change.

I agree this needs to be done . . . HOWEVER, infraction or not, all tickets still need to be disclosed, so this will not level the application process. For example, I had tickets in California, and I had to disclose them in my Bar application.

Seems like a no brainer. Why are we still doing it this way? Just make it a fine and move on.
