This is a very dangerous area ofHappy Valley - with high school quickly approaching the beginning of the year and the growth of the area I have seen and heard numerous accidents and close calls. Please put a light in this area to slow down traffic and let residents out of neighborhoods safely.

This is truly a chance of a lifetime to get the city on board with our communities in enhancing the safety of all of us and do the right thing to install a traffic signal that is so desperately needed. It will significantly reduce the likelihood of accidents and injuries to all of us and our loved ones.

We use to live at W. Buckskin Trail which is right on the corner of Happy Valley & 47th Avenue and one of the reasons we moved was due to the accidents, traffic and how unsafe that left turn is.

I have been very close to get hit when I turn left many times! I am so afraid it can turn tragic any minute! I now have a teen driver and am so scared for her as well! Once while she was driving and with magnets on car letting people know student driver onboard, and while trying to make a left into our community on 47th Ave, this lady cut us off! I fear for my life and everyone’s for that matter, while waiting to make that turn!

We have been fighting for a light for 12 pus years. It’s time to take safety into consideration for those of us trying to get out onto Happy Valley Road. this includes school buses.

Contributing concern is for the children who ride school buses within these communities. These exits are dangerous for both the amount of traffic and the speed vehicles travel on happy valley

as well as making egress and ingress from/into 47 th street , will have a a positive effect on slowing the evcessive motor traffic on Happy Valley

This community was built in 1992 and 1993. Indian Springs Estates was the only development of any kind on the north side of Happy Valley Road from east of I-17 to the dark, empty four-way stop that used to be 67th Ave. Happy Valley Road did not extend west of 67th Ave. Obviously monumental development and expansion have occurred on Happy Valley to beyond the 303 now. Multiple traffic studies have been done at 47th and 49th Avenues at our request over the years which confirm the growth in traffic patterns. Yet despite the massive traffic dangers we face entering and exiting our homes, and despite our many pleas for traffic signal so we can access Happy Valley Road safely, we continue to plead for a traffic light with still no assurance of getting one installed. Please heed our call

There absolutely should be a stop light at the intersection of 47th Ave. and Happy Valley Highway!

A light is necessary for the safety of residents. If a light can be put at Safeway, we should get a light too since distance between lights would be a lot wider.

It is so dangerous trying to get out of my neighborhood. I have to turn left to get my children from school which is a dangerous proposition every time. My son will be a new driver at the end of the year and I fear his lack of experience will make it nearly impossible to exit our neighborhood.

Many drivers use this avenue as a highway, we need the traffic sign in this intersection. Asap

It is truly difficult to enter into Happy Valley Road at many times of day. Often, our only way to get into the flow of traffic is to use the “suicide lane”.
