Another traffic light would be difficult but it's seriously more difficult to enter and exit at 49th Ave. It's even scary to be in the turn lane to enter the community! Something needs to be considered!

We need a stop light at this intersection for everyone’s safety.

A traffic light is a must now that the center turning lane (aka suicide lane) is too narrow!!

The increase in Happy Valley traffic is making it dangerous to turn left from 47 Ave.

Please help keep these neighbors safe with crossing what is already a dangerous and overfilled roadway.

This is a dangerous turn out off 47th Ave. a traffic light would be a hug improvement and potentially save someone’s life.

Its impossible to drive across or turn east or west on to Happy Valley Rd during peak rush hour traffic. Totally unsafe

I’ve only been a homeowner of ISE for two years but in that time I have found the intersect of 47th Ave and Happy Valley to be very challenging and at times dangerous. Most “1/2 mile” intersections throughout Phoenix are controlled by signal lights. With the current disregard of speed limits on HV and the anticipation of more traffic to come with future growth the time to regulate traffic flow and improve the safety of the residents is now. Why should 39th, 55th and 63rd have the benefits of a traffic signal but not 47th?

Please put a light at the 47th & Happy Valley intersection. There are many days where it takes 5 minutes to get out of the neighborhood.

Getting out of our neighborhood requires WAY too much patience and a bit of luck, especially during peak times. Far too often, unnecessary risks are taken. The number of additional traffic with the new apt complex a couple miles down the road will make things much worse.

It is critical that we have a safe way to enter/exit our neighborhood as traffic continues to rise. During peak times of the day it is very difficult to safely exit our neighborhood. The traffic along Happy Valley drive at highway speeds with very few breaks between vehicles.
