I have lived in Kings Valley for 14 years and have seen more accidents than at any other intersection I have seen anywhere. Not to mention that there are backups sometimes for miles, every week where it has to go from 2 lanes to 1. Just expanding 1 extra lane less than 1//3 of a mile, from Richmond Hill to Kings Valley would improve the safety of thousands of people.

It is without doubt this subject matter needs attention. There have been too many incidences in the past and present for this to be ignored.

I feel like I am risking my life at this turn every day. We have lived here 10 months and would love to be able to safely get on and off 285.

I believe the kid that cut my aunt and uncle Jim off to make them wreck should be in prison for killing my uncle. Not just given a ticket. If he would have had patients my uncle would still be alive. Thanks

Yes this intersection needs to be fixed so let's do it...We want safe roads in our community...I was there for the deadly motorcycle accident where Stephanie and Levi lost their lives on 285 at Shaffer's Crossing...I still get shivers down my spine every time I drive past that intersection...Please hear us, fix 285 and make it safe for everyone!

An accident can ruin peoples lives, kill them, or make them broke. This spot obviously needs attention.

This is really about more than just Kings Valley because delays and accidents at this intersection affects all traffic through this area.

Very dangerous intersection, especially for the people that reside in Kings Valley.

We used to live there & it's very dangerous to turn into the subdivision.
Please reassess!

I have only lived in the Conifer area for one month. On the day I was driving up to view my home I witnessed the dead body of James Ellison (motorcycle rider) who was killed at this intersection. I am still haunted every single time I drive through this intersection. Please hear our request!

After seeing the aftermath of a fatal accident at the intersection recently I've stopped using it during period of high traffic and resorted to going over Conifer Mountian.

I travel this route a lot and have not only seen near misses as people try to get out into 285, crash, after crash, after crash, but I also frequent businesses in this area and every time I'm waiting to turn north onto 285 I hold my breath even though I know I've done everything I can to be safe.

Please, fix this intersection! I grew up here, and still live here. I have seen you stand by time and time agian after people die and assulted in this intersection. It's time to put a stop to this. With all the new people flooding our beloved small town we need to put safety first!
