Traffic light Union Grove Rd and Hwy 69

Safety should be a first concern and this needs to be handled now.

I have come off union grove rd several times a day evryday for wrk...it is very dangerous an at times u have sit forever to cross when traffic gets heavy there...

That's a very dangerous pull out. I agree with a light.

If nothing else gets done with this intersection but a median that will help. Something needs to happen before we loose more lives to Hwy69 & Union Grove Rd. I live on union grove rd and have grew up here so it's time for a change.

I drove this road growing up and luckily was never in an accident but there have been several near misses for me. A light would save a lot of lives

Hwy 69 is a very dangerous road from the traffic light at Warrenton to the Hospital at Scanty City. A traffic light at Union Grove is a must. A traffic light at this intersection is something that should have been put up years ago. There are numerous other improvements that need to made to this road including a divider wall going up the mountain, a continuous turning lane at all areas, caution light at Georgia Mountain Road, etc. This road has not been updated properly through the years to handle the traffic flow that it currently carries.

I am 32 years old and grew up in Union Grove. I don't think I could generate a number as to how many accidents I've seen at this dangerous intersection. My kids and I were there a month ago when the fatal accident occurred when 3 innocent people lost their lives. We watched the police cover the driver side car, bashed and dented in, with a white sheet, waiting for an ambulance. I knew at that moment someone had lost their life. We also watched Medflight land, load someone up, and take off towards Huntsville. Even though we prayed, there in the car, we found out later in the evening, that person had passed on. That night all I could think about was how senseless it was that those people, including others, had lost their life there. Here I am, all grown up and nothing has been done still. I think it's time someone makes a decision that could possibly save another life.

Safety first. With all the accidents something like this could only be beneficial and it's obviously something the people of the town want.

Stop light in this intersection is long over due. My family drives this intersection at least twice daily. Coming and going. Have seen to many accidents or nearly hits.

In an area growing so fast and with the numerous accidents, it stands to reason that a traffic signal needs to be placed here. How many must suffer injury or die before action is taken for the safety of people who must travel this road daily?

This intersection is very dangerous and needs a traffic signal. With the amount of traffic flowing through this intersection, hopefully the will be justification for it to be considered.

Please help get a light there. There have been too many fatalities and too many wrecks period. It is so dangerous. Thank you.

There does need to be a red light put up here I don't won't anyone else to lose there life there or watch a family member grieve, Sad...

You can never be too safe.
