Too many lives have been lost at this intersection due to poor visibility from the curves and hills. Please please let's get the DOT to put up a red light here and flashing lights both ways when the light is turning red. Saving lives is what is what the DOT stands for!!!!

I would recommend that the light is set up similar to how they did the one in Lacey springs. Maybe the right lane going into Guntersville with a green light at all times with only the left lane having to stop. Something like this . It's pulling out onto the highway is what's dangerous. Surely it can be done without stopping traffic in each direction. Also that each curb has a blinking light to let cars know when someone stopped ahead.

Such a scary intersection, especially with a high school right there with all the "new drivers".

Visibility is very bad here at this intersection plus people do speed on 69 there going into G'ville but you really can't see enough to get out,,,

Any time we take this route is always nerve racking. Just about the time you think you're safe to pull out another car is coming around the curve or hill and you just best pray that you haven't pulled out yet or that your car has some power or else you are very likely to get hit hard.

I have to travel through this intersection quite often and my son has to travel through it twice a day every day. We have almost been involved in an accident quite a number of times, and seen almost accidents quite a few times. I think there should be a traffic light placed there with an alert to the possibility of having to stop in both directions. I also think the truck speed through that intersection should be reduced to 35 mph.

My Fiance Takes This Very Route Every Day Going To & From Work. Union Grove Rd. To Hwy 69. This Is Also How I Must Go If I Need To Go To Guntersville Or Father. This Is A Very Dangerous Intersection. There Have Been Many Close Calls With Us, Not To Mention We Have Had Family/Friends Who Have Had Fatal Car Crashes Here. A Traffic Light Would Have Stopped That. Thankyou, Leslie Kemp

The warning lights need to flash when light ahead is red or about to turn red. This will give drivers on HWY 69 time to slow down.

Yes, it is dangerous there. There has been many of times I've pulled out and another vehicle approch me on both sides. There needs to be a stop light there.
