I have Grandchildren that go to Laney, and they occasionally stop at McDonolds. This is a hard place to get out of, and I have seen students almost get in wreck, turning left.

I work at the preschool Center across the street from laney. Not only do you have the high school kids but we have parents with young children. Would love to help

Help us save lives. The students need this protection on our roads. The light in that area will definitely help with traffic of cars and pedestrians. So..let's take this important step and get this done for safety and not wait until saying we should have when the time is NOW!

It's a pain to turn left out of mcdonald's in the morning when i do go. I find myself going the back way behind the church just to make it to laney in the morning.

I work at dollar general right there, and it can be a nightmare just turning left. I would love to see a stop light there

Great idea!!! It's a must have. I have a child at Laney and one at Trask. Next year my younger will attend Laney and McDonalds is a favorite spot for students and parents in the am looking for coffee.

Yes! Most definitely needed! WE drive there to school everyday and everyday I worry about the kids I see there.
Also add Justin and will Russell to your list.
And another exit out of Laney needs to be worked out.

They also need to address sidewalks. In an area where there are two schools, and a host of food venues, the need for sidewalks is a dire one.

I knew this was going to be a problem when it first went up. Peoples lives are at stake. I will have 2 children driving to Laney next year and I have been worried about this since it went up. Please put a light to protect everyone !!!

That "intersection" is horrid between the dollar store traffic, McDonald's traffic, adults trying to get to work on time, cape fear students trying to get to school on time, and not to mention the 800 student drivers at Laney. A traffic light would save lives
