I live between Monticello and Elliot, and I've been almost hit numerous times simply trying to get out of my driveway. There is a blind corner near Oak, and cars regularly speed around it.

I travel this part of Ridge St. almost daily. The traffic backups during peak times are incredible. It is VERY difficult for folks to cross the mentioned streets safely, especially at night.

I live on Ridge St. and bike and walk as my primary form of transportation. I strongly support traffic calming on this busy street!

I walk and bike on Ridge St. regularly. It's a major entrance to the downtown area and suffers from constant traffic problems, and it's worth the investment to make it better.

I am very pedestrian and use these crosswalks day and night. People cannot see you, especially at night. As far as crossing the street because you have parked your car, I have to plaster myself to the side of the car so I don't get hit when on the non bike lane side. Cars are moving too fast or close to the vehicle to see me.

The speed limit is broken constantly throughout the day by both private and city vehicles. Lighting is non existant. Altogether a very dangerous thoroughfare.

Accidents happen all the time. It is a dangerous curve. There is a daycare on the corner. It is residential. We have three small children who would like to play in our front yard. Few follow the speed limit coming from 64.

Cars often do not slow or stop for parents with children crossing the street to the day care center.
