This petition is being circulated in order to elicit support to implement traffic calming measures on Brennen Road in Columbia, South Carolina. The measures will be two fold:
1. The installation of speed humps to slow traffic traveling on Brennen Road.
2. The installation of sidewalks along Brennen Road to allow safe pedestrian traffic along Brennen Road, mainly as it concerns children traveling to and from Brennen Elementary School.
Once complete, this petition will be sent to the Columbia City Council, care of Moe Baddourah. This petition will serve as notice that the residents of the immediate area are in full support of the measure being brought forth. Both Moe Baddourah and Brian DeQuincey Newman, of the City Council, have voiced their support of these measures and are awaiting this show of support from our community.
