My children attend the school in Grange and I really fear a child will be injured because of the traffic on this road

There is going to be a severe accident or death of a child if something isn't done the speeds cars go up and down that road is terrible

I've often slow down to the 60km had some one overtake me just before the school. Then we indicate and slow down to pull into the school and ive had the fear of the cars behind me hitting me.

Must we all wait til somebody loses their life before there are proper measures taken to reduce the speed on this stretch of road??? SPEED BUMPS ARE NECESSARY in Grange. I have personally had numerous near misses. Lethal for residents, school and church goers.

Having grown up in Grange, sending my child to Grange NS and now being a driver I think it is unbelievable that noone has been seriously hurt on this road before now and I feel the council are waiting for a death before green lighting any calming measures! Cars are flying along the road from tullow and from castledermot and are barely braking passing the church and school, especially if they don't know the area and aren't aware these buildings are near. It is 2016 and all Grange or Killerig for that matter have gotten since I walked to and from school as a child is a flashing orange light?! In relation to the build up of homes in the area over the years and the, thankfully, ever expanding national school this is quite frankly, a joke. I am signing this in the hope that measures will be introduced BEFORE an accident happens and not after as the council seem to prefer!

Traffic volume and speed through the Grange area are at worrying levels - I've had several near-misses with speeding motorists, while driving and walking in the area.
Traffic calming is badly needed in this area.
