Petition for traffic calming measures on Wych Hill Rise/Blackbridge Road

My daughter walks this way to school, it’s so busy and cars driving too fast. It’s dangerous!

Travel long north either by foot or car is very dangerous as there is no sight of cars coming down Wych Hill ride.

I have to walk my 9 year old daughter to school this way and we feel very unsafe.

I think this is extremely important parents walk there small children to school, and cars travel under the bridge at great speed. There could be tragic consequences.

We need it.

Accident waiting to happen and it will be a child or elderly person hit by a speeding can under the bridge

Something must be done before there is a serious accident

I could not agree more! Totally dangerous & such a lack of action.

Should also point out that school children are walking up and down this road at peak morning times and home time when cars and vans are typically using this as a high speed rat-run. Are the authorities waiting for a fatality?

As a resident of Blackbridge Road I whole heartedly agree with the description of the situation presented on this petition and on the potential measures that would help to alleviate it
