Beaufort County, South Carolina is the perfect place for a new Trader Joe's!
Many Beaufort, Bluffton, and Hilton Head Island residents and visitors come here from towns and cities where Trader Joe's has at least one store. Unfortunately, the nearest Trader Joe's to us is in Charleston -- 1 1/2 hours to the north! We shouldn't have to spend a day traveling to and from Charleston to frequent our favorite grocery store.
Hilton Head and Beaufort consistently place in the top ten Best Places to Live. (Ref US News and World Report). Annually, 2.5 million visitors come to Hilton Head Island alone—an additional 2 million visit Beaufort and the neighboring islands just to the north. In 2020, Bluffton's median household income was $85,844, and it is the fastest-growing municipality in South Carolina, with a population growth of 882.7% between the 2000 and 2010 census.
PLEASE! Consider the hundreds of thousands of people who already know your brand and would regularly shop at a more conveniently located Trader Joe's. Hilton Head is only 45 minutes away, and Bluffton is only 30 minutes away from Beaufort. Even Savannah, Georgia, is only 45 minutes from here. So, we have the demographics, population, and infrastructure to support placing a successful location in Beaufort County.
We encourage you to consider placing a Trader Joe's near us.

Miss my naperville trader joes. Please come to beaufort because there are many of us who have moved from trader joe locations and miss them!!
I miss out Trader Joe’s in Batavia, Il. It would be great to have one in Beaufort!
