My daughter and I love Trader Joes! I only get to shop there every other month as Omaha is a 2 hour drive from Sioux City. I believe Sioux City is an untapped market for a store like Traders Joes. The Sioux City area has several nationally known companies like Sue Bee Honey and Jolly Time. Nearby LeMars, IA is the home of Blue Bunny Ice Cream. This is a well populated rural area with lots of potential for new customers. People who are younger are willing to drive two hours for groceries, older generations are not so keen on making a long drive to get their groceries. I believe that Traders Joe's has the quality specialty items that will attract more mature shoppers if there was a local location.

We love Trader Joes but only shop there when in Des Moines - we would shop there very frequently if a local store is started

After losing 130 lbs. Due to a non processed diet and paleo/raw eating, I still find it very hard to find good, organic food in the sioux city area.
It would be amazing to have options as the area expands. These are good options too. Great for adults and kids alike.
Eating less chemical laden food has shown and proven effective in helping certain diseases including cancer.
We need this.

I'm moving back to the area soon after being in New York City.... This would be a godsend for me as I wouldn't be forced to shop in bulk a couple times a month hauling coolers from Omaha. Shopping in Sioux city is very limited for groceries. VERY. As someone who is grain & gluten free, all organic & natural, it is a huge dilemma going back there. A TJ's in Sioux city (where I do a lot of my shopping weekly out here) would be amazing! They would do great business!!!
