The residents of NW Indiana request Trader Joe's open a location in our area (Lake County, IN). We have residents from lower-middle class to upper class, many of whom are looking for a store with specialty, organic and more nutritious choices of quality products. Right now, our only choices are standard grocery stores, which carry only a few organic & vegetarian/vegan items. The closest Trader Joe's location is a minimum 45 minute drive which is difficult for many in this area to get to.
In addition, it would also bring new business opportunities and jobs to our region.
Thank you,
The residents of NW Indiana
So many loyal TJ shoppers are moving to NWI. The Chesterton/Valporaiso area have the socioeconomic and demographic base to make a location work! Journeyman’s Distillery is venturing to Valpo. That location would be perfect!! Thanks for SBend announcement (one hrs drive).

Hello Trader Joe's people!! you usually use Whole Foods demographics...Whole Foods has a store in South Bend, Indiana and also in Schererville, Indiana...therefore, you can see there are plenty of people shopping at a higher end store than Trader Joe's...what IS the problem...we need a Trader Joe's for crying out tears!!!

Valparaiso's influx of people/jobs cannot be denied. We only have 2 grocery stores, both owned by the same people. Eateries opening every day & same for new home construction. We know where to put our disposable income so let us show you & you won't be sorry.

It would be so welcome to have a good store like Trader's in Michigan City. It's pretty impossible to get any organic or interesting foods here. I'm a senior who is not vision wise comfortable with long distance drives. Fingers crossed the smaller places are not ignored and it's not a bigger town which already has choices.
