Miamians!

A large pool of Trader Joe's fans desperately want a second Trader Joe's store in Miami, Florida. Currently there is only one store located in the South Miami/Pinecrest area of Miami. While this location is fabulous (even with limited parking), it is a bit far for the Miami residents who live on the East side of town.

What we're proposing is a second store in the amazing Midtown Miami area. Why this location? Well, Walmart had originally planned to build there, however a group of activists and neighbors have managed to push them out of Midtown. Walmart was planning to build with illegal permits, and is now at a standstill and most likely looking to sell and get out of Midtown Miami.

Essentially, the people of Miami do not want another Walmart, and would much rather have a good store like Trader Joe's in this spot. It is an incredible location that would greatly benefit the residents on the East Side of Miami. Opening a Trader Joe's in Midtown Miami would not only bring delightful grocery and product to the East side of Miami, but provide good jobs to its residents with fair and decent wages (unlike Walmart).
