Hayward has a great park. Sulphur creek! That would be a great model!

Wow, Juancarlos! Those are great ideas! We're just getting started with hiking and biking trails... Adding a water feature like a lake or pond, linking trails across Tracy, there's lots of options really. Come to the Parks&Rec Commission and the City Council meetings in September and tell them what is important to you as a Tracy resident as far as amenities go (especially nature parks, hiking, biking trails, water features, picnics, etc)! P.S. Be sure to share this online petition with your friends and neighbors, the more signatures the better! and like and share our Facebook page and join our Facebook group..! Lisa Roth TNPA

Hi Henry, I agree, too. Maybe that will be possible also, if not right away, then hoping down the road.. Lisa Roth TNPA

Hi Brian, Certainly agree, and so does the Tracy Tree Foundation. They are the first to officially endorse Tracy Nature Park Advocates' goal of having a large nature park on our own town. In fact, at the City Council meeting a few weeks ago, Pete Mitracos told the Council that they are ready to plant Valley Oaks in October if the Council decides to proceed with a park in September! Would love to be able to hike in my hometown and stop having to go all the way to Livermore to hike!

This would be great if we could get plenty of shade trees too. Hiking in Tracy without shade could be unbearable.
