This will bring Tracy more alive beside having more houses built left and right. We need this land to be recognize then just farming. Can you imagine the amount of audiences coming in and not to mention revenue from the surrounding. Let's do this!

My family and I move from San Jose to get out of the city life. We wanted more for our little family and specially now that the Silicon Valley's are getting overpriced. The cost of living are higher.
Here in Tracy we can enjoy "life". Not worrying about paying over price home or worry about our kids playing in the front yard. But yet we find ourselves traveling back and fourth still just to have some outdoor fun that Tracy life style dose not provide like hiking and biking. Also Dog park. Our four legged family member need a place of their own too. Even the park here in Tracy aren't as what I was hoping for. All these land yet still not much to offer.
We, citizens of Tracy, request the City of Tracy to create a nature park and open spaces such as hiking and biking trails for residents, our four legged friends and visitors to enjoy being out in nature as respite from the press and bustle of daily life.

I've lived in Tracy for 24 years and for 24 years I've had to drive to another city in order to have a nice area to hike, bike or stroll with my dog. Tracy has SO much potential.

I would love to see something come out of this. The City of Tracy has plenty opportunities and space to make this city an outdoor friendly place. I would like to see the downtown establishments more dog friendly also.

The community of Tracy needs healthy lifestyle and family oriented things for people to do. Adding outdoor activities is critical to developing a strong community in Tracy, and to teaching our youth a healthy lifestyle .

Somewhere to take a nice walk or bike ride that doesn't include sidewalks or a ton of large intersections to cross would be fantastic. The thought of driving to Livermore just to hit Sycamore Grove is ridiculous, but it's a fantastic place and beats walking neighborhoods any day. A town of our size needs some nature and we really don't have any useable space aside from smaller parks and some sports fields, and let's be honest, laps around a sports fields or track are BORING. Let's do this!!!

My kids are too old to walk to the park here in Tracy. They no longer want to swing on swings and climb the structures. They want to hike and explore nature. It would be great to have something close by so we don't have to drive out of town to go find it.

I saw this petition posted on a traffic pole as I was biking down Tracy Blvd a couple days ago. I would love a nice bike trail that I know I can count on to be safe, especially during rush hour traffic by the daily commuters. We need our space too.

Hi Rosa,
TYSM for your support! TNPA is requesting that the City of Tracy create this park. We do not foresee the need to raise funds for the park at this time.
What we are doing is selling some really awesome t-shirts with our "Hike Inside The Triangle" logo (only $10 bucks!). We'd like folks like you to buy one, wear it around town, tell people about us and definitely wear it to the City Council meetings when TNPA will be there (we post these events on our Facebook page & in our group)! Contact me for more info &/or to get your cool TNPA t-shirt!
This would be great!
