85,000 and growing - men, women, and children need a safe open range park to hike, bike, and enjoy the nature and beauty of this valley. We can't just have a collection of housing developments. Tracy needs a sense of community and an increase of quality of living to match the increase in population.

I totally agree!! I called Carnegie State Vehicle Recreational area to ask them if I could run in the trails there at all and they said it was not possible. We have all the lovely Altamont Hills here, we should be able to us them from this side.

This would be a great investment in the youth of our community and overall community happiness. While there are a lot of parks there is very few options for actually getting out to explore nature.
