I never really thought this many people would want trails as badly as I do but it is wild to see everyone piling on and finally agreeing that we need some actual green space in this town. It makes me feel less crazy for wanting a place to just sit outside and not hear cars for five minutes because honestly this momentum is just incredible and I am just staring at the screen processing it all.

My kids are too old to walk to the park here in Tracy. They no longer want to swing on swings and climb the structures. They want to hike and explore nature. It would be great to have something close by so we don't have to drive out of town to go find it.
I saw this petition posted on a traffic pole as I was biking down Tracy Blvd a couple days ago. I would love a nice bike trail that I know I can count on to be safe, especially during rush hour traffic by the daily commuters. We need our space too.
Stockton has a nature Park, Livermore has a nature Park, it's time for Tracy to have its own nature Park. There is nothing better than spending time out in nature and would really enhance the quality of life in our town.
85,000 and growing - men, women, and children need a safe open range park to hike, bike, and enjoy the nature and beauty of this valley. We can't just have a collection of housing developments. Tracy needs a sense of community and an increase of quality of living to match the increase in population.
I totally agree!! I called Carnegie State Vehicle Recreational area to ask them if I could run in the trails there at all and they said it was not possible. We have all the lovely Altamont Hills here, we should be able to us them from this side.

I drive to lodi lake for something like this. I'd love to see a nature area in my own home town. Was born and raised here and Tracy has always disappointed in this department. Let's step it up!

This will bring Tracy more alive beside having more houses built left and right. We need this land to be recognize then just farming. Can you imagine the amount of audiences coming in and not to mention revenue from the surrounding. Let's do this!
