TPP is bad for our nation and gives too much power to international corporationstudents, while destroys jobs in America.

This agreement hamstrings everyone but corporations. It must not become a reality.

I've seen the effect of free trade agreements first-hand. My wife is from El Salvador. The river in her town was destroyed by a U.S. mining company. Because of acid mine drainage, there are no more fish, and many people have died from kidney failure. When the Salvadoran government revoked the company's mining permit, the company sued the government of El Salvador for $100 million under CAFTA. Although the company's lawsuit was dismissed on a technicality, El Salvador still had to pay $800,000 in legal fees, and the company has ignored demands to clean up the environmental damage they caused. As far as I'm concerned, this company has committed murder... and any agreement that allows murderers to sue their victims is fundamentally at odds with the basic principles of justice.

The significant detrimental implications of this secret Fast Tracked trade agreement to our democracy require that we vehemently oppose it.

The Democratic Party supporting TPP risks the country's future and it risks the election.

We need to stop this disastrous trade agreement that will mean less jobs in our country, pollute the planet and destroy the environment, and take our sovereignty away.

As the Sanders campaign will tell you, more than 60 platform committee members signed a half dozen minority reports, not understanding the submission of them was to be determined my the Senator. The campaign understand their error and would appreciate reconsideration.

We are stronger as a party when we can talk about the issues that are of great concern to the American people and when we allow for the expression of diverse viewpoints.

The Democratic Party recognizes that Free Trade has done more to destroy than it ever promised to build. We reject it, especially this latest assault on our nation's manufacturing sector.
