my cat almost died from a lily bouquet, people have no idea how dangerous these things are until it's too late. labeling is common sense.

Not ever having seen or heard of them growing up in a different state, I was horrified to find out that the oleanders that the builder in my community highly recommended for landscaping is highly poisonous to animals and children. Had I known ahead of time, I would have NEVER planted them in my yard. We have since moved and have none in our yard, but I constantly worry about the leaves and flowers that fall off of our neighbors oleanders into the yard where my dog and 2 year old spend a lot of time.
