Congressman Goodlatte you are the elected voice of your constituents. You cannot adequately represent those constituents if you refuse to hear their voices.

You, as OUR representative, should not appear to be avoiding contact with your constituents.

Telephone Town Halls aren't enough! Shen. Vly constituents, like me, need to see you in a true public town hall. Please organize and attend a town hall on or before April 8th. Thanks!

Your most recent email to your constituents claims that you've "spoken to the public." How can you claim that when you won't even see your constituents in person?

We expect an in-person town hall meeting to discuss your "representation" of your constituents or lack thereof.

I personally went to D.C. to speak with him on a matter. A constituent, from his area had to go to his office in Wash D.C. to get through to him. Even that was not enough as he told our small group that he needed to see more of us there fighting for what we wanted. He ran on term limits years ago and is still in office. He's part of the swamp that needs to be drained.

Phone-in town hall meetings are not an acceptable substitute for an actual town hall meeting with Mr. Goodlatte in attendance.

Mr. Goodlatte, Your constituents deserve an in person town hall meeting with you. Emails and phone calls to your Lynchburg office receive no response. Our nation is in trouble, and you owe it to us to investigate the Trump revelations that are of great concern. Your presence is requested at a town hall meeting. Jane Parrish Lynchburg VA

I think you need to have a town hall meeting in order to discuss things with your constituents. It's important that we feel we are being heard by those who are supposed to represent us.

You need to own up and respond to questions of your actions and let your constituents know why you have done what you have done and what you plan to do moving forward.
