Dear Townes Association Member and Home Owner,

As a your neighbor and fellow home owner, I employ you to weigh in on issues currently being vetted in our Townes Association Board meetings. Year after year the elected members of the Townes Board of Directors have approved an increase in our monthly HOA dues. As a matter of fact, in the last four years we've seen a 70% increase in the Townes' association dues alone. This year is no different.

What's more troubling is that the board is considering a costly and unnecessary measure to regulate our free private-parking. If these measures are approved, your guests will no-longer be free to park where they see fit. In addition,You will be required to register every vehicle you own with the association. You will be forced to maintain and display residential parking permits to park by your home. Your visitors will be hassled with temporary permits or worse your existing parking will be commandeered for their explicit use.

To enforce this unprecedented measure, the CMC management agent has suggested a towing company to patrol the neighborhood, towing cars at the owners expense. Yes, that means your car, should for any reason you fail to comply. This regulation will be time consuming, expensive, and aggressive.

You can bet that additional administrative and advertising revenue will be required.  Tell them to vote "NO" for strict parking regulations. Tell them to vote "No" for additional expenditures that do not add value and convenience to your property. Tell them you vote for peace-of-mind parking.
