I am also paying the assessment I'm on year 8 of a 20 year forced loan. My septic is 9 years old and in perfect working condition and they want me to get another loan to tie in. I believe they are not getting enough sewer usage fee money and that is why they are doing forced tie ins it is totally UNFAIR and the cost they want to charge for the new assessment is totally inflated and ridiculous and not one of the town council people are being affected by this project. It's unfortunate that this could put people out of their homes and I hope the town council listens to the new legislation that is being presented to them.

We had replaced our septic tank within 10 years. Our metal tank had collapsed and a concrete tank was put in. Our leach field was in perfect condition. I feel with the money we had paid to update our septic we should not have to connect to the sewer. The tank we replaced was the original from when the house was built in the 60's

My septic is 2 years old. Why would I want additional bills for a sewer system I don’t need. There needs to be complete disclosure by the town of Coventry before this nightmare advances any further. This whole thing stinks.

I am already paying an assessment for the sewer line going by my house. My house has an oversize septic system and still has many years of service left. You should not be required to hook up if your system is functioning.

Its time to take a stand neighbors. Forcing this money maker for the Town of Coventry down our throats is unjustified and outside of the Town Ordinance. Follow the $$$ and who benefits from the work and stand up together to stop this action.

This is wrong and the people can't afford this. People will move away from Coventry and it will not bring any new buyers to the town. My family and a lot of my friends will be moving out of coventry if this continues. This is the worse idea this town has ever came up with and it's just wrong !

There goes our property values. No one is going to want to buy a house in town knowing they'll be stuck paying tens of thousands of dollars in assessments.
